MMofA: Oil Painted Portraits

This 3 week series will lead students from start to finish in creating a unique oil painted portrait beginning with underpainted sketches, building tonal planes and values in the face, and ending with glazing techniques to intensify colors. This class is suitable for both beginners and intermediate artists looking to expand their skills. Participants will provide a photo reference to work from in completing one oil painted portrait over 3 weeks.
